Self-taught artist.  While I've been to school, tons of school, I spent my time studying math and engineering.  I engage with the world through working, exploring, and questioning.  Art came to me by accident, I went to a friend's studio to visit and fell in love with the power of creation and the opportunity to express your thoughts in a physical form.

For me, advertising and technology have always been love/hate.  Advertising’s powerful imagery provides a lens to see the you that you can be, yet a lens that is focused by someone else’s hand and constrains the full spectrum of possibilities.  In a similar manner, technology enhances our abilities to make the world work for us and speeds our time to realization, but allows us to skip over first principles and shortcut to the final copy.  In either case, taking the ready-made set of facts makes us lose a little of our self, our history, and our innocence.
